The Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) today released the official list of validated candidates for the upcoming 2026 National Elections, set to take place in April. The Nominations and Elections Committee (NEC) has confirmed the eligibility of nominees across key bodies, following a rigorous vetting process in line with the 2025 EIZ Constitution, Election Rules, and Canvassing Guidelines.
This announcement marks the start of a seven-week canvassing period, effective immediately and concluding on April 16, 2026. “The validation of these nominations ensures a transparent and inclusive electoral process, empowering our members to elect leaders who will advance engineering excellence in Zambia,” said the NEC Chairperson. “We invite all eligible EIZ members to participate actively in the elections and contribute to the future of our profession.”
