The Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) is pleased to announce the re-election of Eng. Wesley Kaluba as President, reaffirming the confidence and trust placed in his leadership by the engineering fraternity.
Eng. Kaluba’s re-election marks a continued commitment to strengthening the engineering profession in Zambia through enhanced regulatory oversight, professional development, and alignment with international standards. During his previous tenure, he played a pivotal role in advancing key institutional priorities, including capacity building, stakeholder collaboration, and positioning EIZ within global engineering frameworks.
His renewed mandate comes at a critical time as the Institution continues its strategic efforts toward international recognition, particularly engagement with the International Engineering Alliance (IEA), and strengthening accreditation systems in collaboration with key regulatory bodies.
In accepting the mandate, Eng. Kaluba emphasized the importance of unity, innovation, and professional excellence in driving the engineering sector forward, noting that EIZ remains committed to safeguarding standards, promoting ethical practice, and contributing to national development.
